Strategic Client Lead
Role Description
As a strategic client lead your responsibilities will be to lead, strengthen & develop our client relationships with some of the largest clients in our business. Leading & guiding client teams within our business you’ll ensure we are delivering over & above expectations for these clients.
This role will be crucial to how we drive & nurture our continued growth, as we expand our team, services, partnerships and global footprint. As our clients grow, their expectations grow with them, and this person will be able to develop and foster genuine trust in their client relationships by meeting & exceeding their expectations.
The role reports directly into the Managing Director, will collaborate closely with all areas of the business and the rest of the Senior Leadership team.
The right person for this role will be a fantastic communicator, have a positive attitude to their work, be accountable, conscientious, empathetic, analytical, commercial and extremely organised in their approach. They will recognise that the strength of our client relationships directly impact our rate of growth and will understand how to positively influence those around them to ensure we are seen as a true partner of our clients’ team & business.

Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as the primary senior point of contact.
Develop a deep understanding of clients' business objectives, including sales goals, brand positioning, and competitive landscape.
Provide strategic insights and thought leadership to clients, leveraging market research, consumer insights, and industry best practices.
Lead, collaborate with & influence specialist teams, including managed services, content, advertising, consultancy and analytics, to deliver comprehensive solutions that drive sales and brand growth for your clients.
Surface & present real growth opportunities for your clients, which lead to upsells for Tambo
Work with teams internally to develop upsell and cross sell opportunities for your clients in order to increase revenue for Tambo
Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to clients on how to execute their strategy and achieve their KPIs on Amazon or other relevant marketplace platforms.
Lead senior client meetings, such as QBRs in order to communicate project status, share results, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
Keep abreast of competitor activities and market dynamics within the Amazon & retail media ecosystem, providing clients with competitive intelligence and recommendations to maintain a competitive edge.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members, fostering their professional growth and expertise in Amazon and marketplace marketing strategies.
Skills and experience required
4yrs minimum in a marketplace function for an e-commerce agency or tech platform
Excellent communication skills
Able to work with all levels within an organisation
European marketing experience – preferred
A good understanding of e-commerce including marketplaces
A strong understanding of Amazon & marketplaces
Capable of working independently to deliver objectives
A team player, that can lead, organise and motivate a diverse group
