The Role

We are looking for a talented and conceptual Junior Designer to bolster our London-based Content team.

Reporting to the Content Manager, you will be responsible for supporting them with content optimisation projects, for multiple high-profile clients, across a range of marketplaces (primarily Amazon). You will also need to be comfortable managing design projects.

You will be naturally motivated and eager to learn. You’ll work alongside our Content team, and other designers and copywriters. You’ll produce assets for e-commerce, from concept through to final artwork, as well as contributing to the growth of Tambo’s Content offering. You’ll be proactive and well organised, showcasing your capabilities to problem solve design issues working independently and collaboratively, while being adept at handling tight deadlines, across multiple projects, in a fast-paced start-up environment.

You will have experience in using Adobe Creative Suite to produce digital creative assets, strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the desire to understand brands and accurately represent them on marketplaces. An interest in E-Commerce & marketplace industry trends will be beneficial.

You will be an integral part of the team, bringing new ideas and expertise that helps evolve the Content team at a key stage in our development.

Skills & Experience required

We are looking for dedicated and driven candidates with a passion for eCommerce and digital content creation - proficiency with Adobe Creative suite is required. You should possess good organisation and communication skills.


Qualifications:

Essential

  • Strong written and verbal communication with both internal and external stakeholders/ clients

  • Highly proficient in using design programmes e.g. Adobe Creative Suite (primarily, Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign) to produce creative content

  • Demonstrable experience in comprehending a brand, and then preparing content for use on e-commerce platforms, from concept through to final artwork

  • Strong conceptual skills - the ability to generate and articulate ideas

  • Creative flair with the ability to keep up to date with design trends

  • Interest in E-commerce

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Demonstrable ability to think on your feet and make smart decisions

  • Planning, prioritisation and time-management skills

  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively

  • Enthusiastic approach & desire to learn

  • English as a first language

  • End to end project management

Preferred

  • A creative portfolio to demonstrate the best design process and thinking

  • Demonstrable experience of optimising creative assets for E-commerce

  • Understanding the content opportunities across marketplaces (primarily Amazon)

  • Interest in UX

  • Experience in preparing content for use on e-commerce platforms

  • Experience in account management in a client facing role

Responsibilities will include:

  • Support the Content Manager and Content Executives/Designers with the creation of design concepts, by creating visual mock-ups of the proposed creatives for client sign off

  • Design creative assets using Adobe Creative Suite, ensuring designs are on brief, within brand guidelines and delivered on time

  • Clearly articulate your process and rationale to the Content Manager

  • Support the Content Manager and Content Executives/Designers to best manage the deliverables and completion of content projects for multiple clients

  • Proactively driving the development of Tambo’s Content offering

  • Support other team members to grow accounts and succeed in e-commerce

  • Conduct training on Adobe Creative Suite for the Content Team

  • Support the growth of wider business initiatives
