Why Diversity & Inclusion is at the Heart of Tambo
While some companies and countries are pulling back on diversity, we’re doubling down. At Tambo, diversity isn’t a tickbox exercise - it’s at the heart of how we grow, innovate, and succeed.
Walk through our office, and you’ll hear voices from every corner of the world (Korea, India, Turkey, Romania, Canada, Sweden and Brazil to name a few!), sharing ideas, perspectives, and traditions. Over the last year we have broadened our visa sponsorships, hosted cultural themed socials to learn from the team, hosted a picnic in aid of international women’s day, expanded our team internationally, adapted our policies to support employees in key life stages, and allowed flexible bank holidays so that people can take the days that are important to them and their culture.
But we’re not stopping there, we are proud to have a 50/50 gender split at Tambo, but we have aspirations to gain even more females at senior levels, build an apprenticeship team to bring people in from non university backgrounds and continue to champion supporting diversity initiatives, it’s one of our values.While others pull back, we push forward, we really believe that it’s how our business continues to thrive.
